Launching with a return appearance Oct. 11 at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in Kansas City, Mo., Riccardo Muti and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra continue with a six-city tour of the West Coast that begins with a multi-day residency at Zellerbach Hall in Berkeley, Calif. Additional highlights include performances of the CSO’s core repertoire, including symphonies by Brahms, Bruckner, Schubert and Schumman, along with the West Coast and Kansas City premieres of Elizabeth Ogonek’s All These Lighted Things, a CSO commission.
