Sir András Schiff, who joins the Chicago Symphony Orchestra as pianist and guest conductor for concerts Nov. 2-5, is one of several artists giving live-streamed master classes this season at the Juilliard School in New York City. His class, conducted on Oct. 16, featured Juilliard pianists Christian De Luca, Jun Hwi Cho and Anna Han in works by Bach, Schubert and Schumann. The class is available online via medici.tv until Oct. 20, 2018.

With the CSO, Schiff will lead Bach’s Keyboard Concerto No. 5 in F Minor and Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 1 from the piano. The program opens with Haydn’s Symphony No. 88 in G Major and Bartok’s Divertimento for String Orchestra. For more details, click here.
