In this week’s program, Mitsuko Uchida returns to Orchestra Hall to perform Beethoven’s Third Piano Concerto with Riccardo Muti and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. The program also features the world premiere of Samuel Adams’s many words of love, his first work as a CSO Mead Composer-in-Residence. The broadcast concludes with Muti leading a performance of Catalani’s Contemplazione from September 2016.
