In this week’s program, renowned pianist Mitsuko Uchida returns to Orchestra Hall to perform Beethoven’s Third Piano Concerto with Riccardo Muti and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. The program also features the world premiere of Samuel Adams’ first work as a CSO Mead Composer-in-Residence, many words of love. The broadcast concludes with a performance of Catalani’s Contemplazione from September 2016.
