On this week’s program, Riccardo Muti leads the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in Berlioz’s The Death of Cleopatra, a lyric scene featuring mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato. The program also includes Bizet’s Roma and Respighi’s Pines of Rome.  Rounding out the program, Riccardo Muti conducts selections from Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet from a 2013 CSO Resound recording available for purchase here.
