With the concert at the Philharmonie de Paris just hours away, it was a day of music-making all around. CSO musicians Jay Friedman, Robert Chen, Alex Hanna, Stefán Ragnar Höskuldsson, and Cynthia Yeh squeezed in some master classes, while Kenneth Olsen and Yuan-Qing Yu offered impromptu serenades at a Paris hospital. Then it was off to the Philharmonie for the tour’s first concert, featuring works by Hindemith, Elgar and Mussorgsky.
