This week, acclaimed conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen leads the Chicago Symphony Orchestra through an exciting program of high energy works. Violinist Leila Josefowicz joins Salonen in the Orchestra’s first performances of John Adams’s Scheherazade.2. The broadcast concludes with Respighi’s Fountains of Rome, conducted by Manfred Honeck.
