On this week’s program, Esa-Pekka Salonen leads the CSO in Brahms’ Variations on a Theme by Haydn and Schoenberg’s tone poem Transfigured Night. Rounding out the program, the CSO’s tenth music director Daniel Barenboim conducts Wagner’s Good Friday Spell from Parsifal from a 1999 Taldec recording and Corigliano’s Symphony No. 1 from a 1990 Erato recording.
