This week, Simone Young makes her debut performances with the CSO in a program including Prometheus by Liszt, excerpts from Götterdämmerung by Wagner, and Schoenberg’s orchestral arrangement of Brahms’s Piano Quartet No. 1. Rounding out the program, Rafael Kubelik conducts Hindemith’s Symphony Metamorphosis on Themes by Carl Maria von Weber from a 1953 Mercury recording.
