This week, we showcase the most recent recording on our CSO Resound label: Riccardo Muti Conducts Italian Masterworks. The recording includes selections from Verdi’s Nabucco, Macbeth and I vespri siciliani followed by intermezzos from Puccini’s Manon Lescaut and Mascagni’s Cavalleria rusticana and Boito’s Prologue to Mefistofele featuring the Chicago Symphony Chorus, Chicago Children’s Choir, and Riccardo Zanellato.

The program concludes with excerpts from Prokofiev’s Suite from Romeo and Juliet led by Riccardo Muti from a 2014 CSO Resound release.
