Christian Tetzlaff, who performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra under guest conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen in April, makes a return visit July 30 when he will be the soloist in a Grant Park Music Festival program. He will play Lalo’s Symphonie espagnole with the Grant Park Orchestra, led by principal conductor Carlos Kalmar.

Earlier this season, he spoke with contributing writer Eric Harrison for CSO Sounds & Stories. The CSO Radio broadcast of Tetzlaff’s April concert, in which he performed Dvořák’s Violin Concerto in A Minor with the CSO, will be available on Sounds & Stories beginning Sept. 1.
