Welcome to the Bold Voices Parent Guide!
The Negaunee Music Institute has developed a series of fun and engaging activities for you and your child to explore the music before your visit to Symphony Center. Below you will find links to short two- and ten-minute activities; activities you can do in the car on the way to the concert; and a playlist of the concert repertoire to listen to with your child(ren).
New this season Opus Café, located in Symphony Center, will be open for CSO Family Matinees. Available at concessions and at the café are new Do-Re-Meals ($8.95) which include:
- Half Sandwiches, dole fruit cups; GO-GO Squeeze pouches; veggies & hummus; cookie; cutlery rollup; wet nap; water bottle
- Sandwiches varieties will include:
- Gluten free turkey wrap
- Turkey & cheese sandwich on wheat bread
- Ham & cheese sandwich on wheat bread
- Banana & honey sandwich on wheat bread(V)
After the concert, all guests are invited for complimentary cupcakes after each Family Matinee performance in honor of the 100th anniversary of CSO family concerts.
Also at the concert, there will be Instrument Cookie decorating in Opus as well as a breakfast buffet offering for diners.
